Terragon wins contract to supply a MAGS for installation on board MS Regal Princess
Terragon Environmental Technologies Inc. is proud to announce a new contract with Wärtsilä for a Micro Auto Gasification System (MAGSTM) to be installed on board MS Regal Princess. Terragon’s patented technology will enable the shipowner to reduce its waste on board in a sustainable, energy efficient manner.
Terragon’s MAGS, scheduled for installation on board in January 2020, will replace one of the ship’s incinerators. MAGS will be used to safely dispose of hazardous, contaminated and dry combustible waste, greatly reducing the ship’s environmental impact, improving its waste processing operations, and helping preserve the marine environment. MAGS complies with the highest air emissions standards and meets all requirements for health and safety onboard. In addition to promising a clean and healthy environment to guests onboard, the installation of MAGS will further enhance Princess’ commitment to environmental practices and set a high standard for excellence and responsibility.
