Canadian Navy DMSS Moves Towards Greener Waste Disposal with Terragon’s MAGS

Terragon Environmental Technologies is proud to announce that the Canadian Navy DMSS has installed its Micro Auto Gasification System (MAGS) onboard the HMCS Protecteur in Victoria, British Columbia. MAGS is now operating for demonstration purposes, treating the waste generated by the ship’s 240+ sailors.

Terragon’s MAGS is a compact, easy-to-use waste-treatment appliance that anyone with minimal training can operate. MAGS disposes of untreated and unsorted solid waste quickly, economically and with low emissions that meet both land and sea-based regulations. MAGS may help the Canadian Navy upgrade their ships for the next generation by enabling space-saving, more efficient and greener disposal of waste.

This project is supported by Sustainable Development Technology Canada (SDTC).
