Presenting at Mari-Tech
Terragon is pleased to announce that on Friday April 21st at 11:15am, CEO and President Peter Tsantrizos will be attending and presenting at the Mari-Tech, Canada’s National Marine Exhibition and Conference. Alongside Russell Peters, Mr. Tsantrizos will be speaking for 45 minutes about the TRU habitat (Total Resource Utilization) enabling the zero waste discharge vessel in the Salle De Bal De Montreal room. The key design objective for a TRU vessel is to recover thermal energy and reusable water, providing a solution that eliminates the transfer and discharge of waste and allows for the full recovery of resources from waste – for ships and rigs, this enables the zero-waste discharge vessel.
“Soon after its formation in 1976, CIMarE began the annual practice of holding technical conferences in conjunction with our Annual General Meeting. The first Mari-Tech was hosted by our Atlantic Branch in 1979. Since that time, the Institute has, each year, provided a positive learning and networking opportunity for the marine community with our Branches taking turns hosting a Mari-Tech Conference. The Mari-Tech events each year are managed by the Canadian Institute of Marine Engineering.” [1]
