Terragon Wins Greentec Award

Terragon wins Greentec award

Terragon Environmental Technologies Inc. is pleased to announce our winning the 2017 GreenTec Award presented in Berlin. “The award ceremony of the GreenTec Awards takes place once a year and has shown good sense for identifying future-orientated ideas since its foundation in 2008”. [1] Terragon was honored in the category of Travel for recovering energy from cruise ship waste with our patented MAGS, or Micro Auto Gasification System. “It is not surprising that cruise ships generate large amounts of solid waste, resulting in progressive demands from ship owners for solutions to repurpose and utilize waste to generate energy onboard. Terragon’s MAGS is a novel energy appliance fueled by waste, providing cruise ships with exceptionally clean operation, improved safety, energy efficiency and recovery and reduced savings. Implemented on two luxury cruise ships traveling to environmentally sensitive areas, MAGS is influencing changes in maritime regulations, through IMO, that will eventually phase out polluting incinerators.” [2]
